The map is generally correct, but not specifically correct. Planes can, and do, follow various routes. The level of traffic indicated is based on the number of airlines flying the route, not the tot...
al number of flights on the route. Also, routes are the most recent I could find, but many are still not current. Airlines make minor changes to their routes all the time.
This is not an original idea, many others have created similar maps, but I think this is the nicest. Hope you like it.
