Winter Survival Guide

Winter Survival/ Guide Winter is coming, bringing •with it a whole host of išsuěs- dry skin, frizzy hair and wardrobe dilemas to name just a few. Which is why we have come up with the ultimate winter survival guide to ensure these chilly months fly by without a glitch.. 1. The perfect Party Dress The holidays are coming! And what better way to show off your glamourous self than in a fabulous new dress? Whether you want a daring deep red gown or a short sparkly frock, getting that perfect dress that suits you will make you the belle of the ball. 2. A good lip balm Cold weather = dry lips. Avoid this problem with a good lip calm. Our favourite is Burts Bees replenishing lip balm- Slick on this amazingly hydrating lip balm for soft, sweet lips, with a hint of colour to even out tone. Infused with pomegranate oil, it replenishes the moisture that is lost during the winter months. Definitely a must need for any handbag. 3. Moisturising Shampoo & Conditioner To quote the famous L'Oreal, at party season we do not want hair that is "weak, limp or lifeless" So it is vital you invest in a good, moisturising Shampoo and Conditioner. These are great for adding volume and after use, hair feels incredibly soft and rejuvenated. Lots of them come with natural Moringa oil adding extra gloss and shine as well as carefully selected wheat protein which helps neutralise static hair surface which provides extra strength and vitality. 4.Hair shine As well as good shampoo, hair serum is a must for dry hair this winter.Applied on dry or towel dried hair, the tiniest of drops smooths the hair down and enriches it with moisture and shine. Perfect for every type of hair to smooth down flyway's, give it some moisture or simply add a touch of gloss to your already gorgeous head! serum 5.Winter boots No outfit is complete without that dream pair of boots. Keep your tootsies toasty AND stylish with the cold season's must- have. From snakeskin to sheepskin to all the fur trimmings, boots are perfect on cold winter evenings or to style up any outfit. 6. Essential Vitamins With winter comes the inevitable sniffles, so stock up on your pills and potions to keep the nasties at bay. Both Zinc and Vitamin D can build up your immune system to prevent colds, but washing your hands often and eating healthily also work well too. For those of you already suffering, try Cold-Eeze cold remedy and a lemon and honey hot drink to sooth those sinuses. 7.Nail Laquer Who has the time to constantly repaint their nails? Ditch the chips and flakes using Opi Nail Lacquer. It has more than 200 shades to choose from and remarkable staying power, lasting more than a week. My current fave is 'Viking in a Vinter Vonderland' -Great names right? 8. Christmas Jumper! Cringe worthy or classy, whichever style you prefer they're all really cosy. And let's face it, Christmas wouldn't be the same without one. Pretty much every Clothing store has crimbo jumpers in cool patterns and definitive Christmas shapes. Covered in trees, snowmen and reindeer it's especially hard to not purchase them all! Source: Seen in the City www.seeninthecity.co.uk Please link back to www.seeninthecity.co.uk if you use.
