Why Does it Rain so Much in England?

WHY DOES IT RAIN SO MUCH IN ENGLAND One of the reasons why it rains so much in England is its location. The island of Great Britain is located in the northern parts of the Atlantic Ocean. There's a bit more to that, though. There are many places on Earth that are on the ocean but get almost no rain at all, like Chile, western Australia or even the Namib desert in Africa, for instance. The real reason why England gets so much rain is its latitude. England is at the right latitude that the jet stream intersects it for most of the year. This allows the flow of the atmosphere to steer storm after storm right into the UK. Van Squad LONDON
