BRAIN HYPOTHALAMUS The hypothalamus releases gonadotropin- releasing hormone (GNRH), which stimulates HYPOTHALAMUS luteinizing-hormone (LH) release from the pituitary gland. PITUITARY LH PITUITARY GLAND The pituitary gland releases luteinizing hormone (LH) that travels to the testes where it signals the Leydig cells to synthesize and secrete more LH testosterone. TESTES LEYDIG CELL Leydig cells are found in the testes and they release testosterone when stimulated by luteinizing hormone (LH).
