Two years later, we don't seem any closer to a solution. More than 23 million children are still obese or overweight. Let's take a closer look. what's the |411? If you have children, you need to lead by example. Add daily physical activity and cook healthier foods. Set limits. Watching TV or playing games isn't all bad but make sure to set limits and encourage other activities. LIMITS Be active. Help get your kids get moving by making up fun games, riding bikes, or going to the park. Limit processed foods. Have fruits and veggies readily available. Enjoy your favorite treats in moderation. Meal pla follow weekly shopping lists, and create healthy meals. You'll save big, too! Reward good behavior. Find non-food ways to reward children for being active and eating healthy.
