Whidbey and Camano Islands provide a canvas for all things art
Blame it on the beautiful surroundings, the lush farmlands, verdant forests and forever seascapes. Or, blame it on the fact that Whidbey and Camano islands sit only miles north of Seattle and it's community of art lovers.
Whatever is to blame, Whidbey and Camano islands have become one of the state's top art havens, a place where people come to produce and perform art or buy and appreciate it. On these islands, there's no shortage of art.
The fact that the islands can easily support seven arts festivals is a great testament to the priority the arts are given in our community.
