What if we burned all the fossil fuels we have?

WHAT IF WE BURNED ALL THE FOSSIL FUELS WE HAVE? It would mean a lot of carbon emissions, enough to raise the earth's temperature by 18.78°C. Coal represents the biggest risk, due to the estimated amount available and its high carbon content. The estimated amount of oil-in-place in the Alberta oil sands - 1.8 trillion barrels - would make a small but significant contribution to this warming.
