Warm-up Activities for Kids

WARM-UP EXERCISES FOR KIDS 1 FLOWERS GROWING TOWARD THE SUN Child stands on his tiptoes with his arms stretched up over his head, trying to keep his balance. 2 DOLL DANCE Child stands with her feet shoulder width apart. Hands are placed on waist while she twists from side to side. 3 WINDMILL Child stands with his feet shoulder width apart and arms stretched sideward. Hand of one side should touch the foot of the opposite side. And then repeat on the other side. (Only for children age four and older.) 4 JUMPING KANGAROO Child starts by standing with her two feet together, then she jumps (2 feet together). 5 HAMSTER IN A WHEEL Child runs in place.
