Visualizing The Future of Travel

Visualizing the FUTURE OF TRAVEL Traveling abroad and domestically has its drawbacks, including delays, uncomfortable flights, problems with rental cars, and the dreaded TSA. However, in the future, these issues are slated to be completely eradicated. How? Well, as technology advances, the experts in the travel industry are working to simplify processes and make it easier for you to make it to your destination without stress and with minimal effort. Here's how they're doing it. RENTING CARS Renting a car could be a very different experience in the near future. Self-driving rental cars will pick up travelers at the airport. It will automatically adjust to their preferred temperature. The passenger's favorite radio station will already be on. Some companies are currently using a sharing system, which allows drivers to pick up a car that is conveniently near them at an hourly rate, such as Zipcar and Hertz. The car will input their destination automatically through a travel management system. AIR TRAVEL You can currently book a seat for $250,000 into space with Virgin Airlines. Richard Branson, the owner of Virgin Atlantic Airlines, plans to make traveling from London to Sydney in two hours a reality during his lifetime using space travel.
