However, this figure shows a slight decline in interstate moves from 2014 in which 63.5% of people were moving to another state. Of those who have moved to a new state in 2015, 1 out of 10 have also shipped a vehicle. Three states that were in the top 10 for local moves in 2014, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, dropped out of the top 10 in 2015 as Michigan, Georgia, and Ohio have made it onto the list.
