Men these days are not satisfied. A new men’s underwear brand in the US, FRIGO®, set out to find out why. According to a recent survey by Wakefield Research for FRIGO, 75% of U.S. men have had issues with their underwear. Of the 500 male respondents to FRIGO’s survey, more than half said they’ve gone “commando” because their underwear was too uncomfortable. FRIGO’s survey found that a majority of men (84 percent of survey respondents) have “adjusted” themselves in public due to unfit underwear; with close to a third (30 percent) saying their underwear has given them a wedgie. Whether it’s riding up, trapping in sweat, or just down right uncomfortable, men are looking to change the first thing they put on in the morning. Released this spring by the company RevolutionWear, FRIGO was introduced to the market to address men’s needs by incorporating patented technology in a high-tech design with superior support. FRIGO, valued at $100, features 15-ergodynamic design elements address specific concerns that men constantly faces, including a cinched waistband and slippage, along with a patented signature pouch system that couples specially engineered support with unique cooling properties to provide optimal comfort.
