This interactive visualisation shows the UEFA Euro competition from 2000-2012. Click on a year to see the contest. Click on a coloured cell to see the teams that played each other at each stage, and the result of each game. The basic layout was designed in pure SVG. Once it was working, we then developed it in JavaScript using the Raphaël SVG/VML library. http://raphaeljs.com/
