This chart gives you an idea of how much the top countries in the Asia Pacific region spend annually on healthcare for its citizens, and the rate of growth during the last five years. In Asia, Japan spends far more than China even though it was less than one tenth the population of China. As you can see, Japan spends nearly 20 times more per person on healthcare than its much larger neighbor.
