Post reports that when you account for differences in occupations, positions, education, job tenure and hours worked per week, the gap narrows to about 95 cents per dollar.
Women currently outpace men in earning degrees at all levels, however, the lowest-earning college majors are saturated with women, while men make up the majority of the highest earning college majors.
