The mission of Papillion-La Vista South High School is to maximize student achievement through the joint effort of students, parents, and staff. Papillion-La Vista South High School is one of two high schools in the Papillion-La Vista School District. The district is located in a residential suburb of Sarpy County, Nebraska. The communities of Papillion and La Vista are a part of the greater Omaha metropolitan area, with an approximate combined population of 30,000.
