To ensure that we drink the amount of water required to stay hydrated, we need to set certain times of day for drinking water. Figure out what the best times are for you to make sure that you are gett...
ing enough water throughout the day.
In the morning, when you wake up, drink the equivalent of 2 glasses of water. Drinking water on an empty stomach allows you to regain a good level of hydration in the body. It is also a great way to start the day. It is especially important to eat a balanced breakfast to give you energy.
Take the time during your morning break to drink a big glass of water. You will increase your chances of reaching the required 1.5 liters of water per day, and it can also help curb that mid-morning hunger.
At lunchtime, make a point of sitting down at the table and taking your time to eat. Drink at least two glasses of water during your meal. Drinking carbonated water helps contribute to good digestion.
If you have things to do out of the office in the afternoon, remember to pack a water bottle in your bag. Keeping water on hand will decrease your chances of dehydration.
In the evening, have a refreshing drink: a big glass of sparkling water with a slice of lemon. It will make you feel great and you will have reached your recommended daily amount of water.
If you have trouble remembering these key times of day, set an alarm every hour or every two hours to remind you to drink water regularly. Dehydration can make you weak and tired.
Don’t hesitate to drink a bit more if it is a hot day or you are doing a more intense physical activity.
