TWO ONE STEPS FORWARD, STEP BACK THE STATE OF RECRUITING IN NORTH AMERICA The recruiting industry is constantly evolving. A new survey from recruiting software company Bullhorn sheds light on the trends impacting the business of finding talent. EXPECTED COMPENSATION OVER THE PAST THREE YEARS INCREASED DECREASED FOR FOR VPs RECRUITERS DIRECTORS ACCOUNT MGRS. MANAGERS SALES REPS. AND 24 CANDIDATE 47% SAY COMPENSATION INCREASED FROM 2011 TO 2012 FIRMS MET OR EXCEEDED REVENUE GOALS 73% IN 2012 TO IN 2011 70% COMPARED CHAMP THE CHALLENGES AHEAD Despite the UNEMPLOYMENT RATE BEING AROUND 8%, recruiters still say their biggest challenge in 2013 is a LACK OF SKILLED CANDIDATES BUT..THE GREATEST OPPORTUNITY IS ACCESS TO CANDIDATES VIA SOCIAL MEDIA 97% 98% of recruiters USED LINKEDIN (in 51% USED FACEBOOK (f 49% USED TWITTER used social media for recruiting in 2012, VERSUS 94% IN 2011.
