MBLR Department of Labor (DOL) 2013 age &Hour/FLSA Enforcement: Southeast U.S. Region DOL's Wage & Hour Division The Wage & Hour Division (WHD) of the DOL enforces Federal minimum wage, overtime pay, recordkeeping, and child labor requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). WHD conducts investigations for a number of reasons, all ħaving to do with enforcement of the laws and ensuring an employer's compliance. CHEEEE WHD Enforcement Facts The WHD recovered more than $280 million in back wages for over 308,000 employees in FÝ 2012.
