October is Small Business Month across B.C. Guess how many jobs in B.C.’s small business sector. One million! That’s right…1,000,000 (six zeros). Not bad for a province of 4.5 million people. It’s one of the reasons so many people like to say, “Small Businesses drive B.C.’s economy.” And, as one entrepreneur put it last week during the launch of Small Business Month, if you’re looking for a very practical way to support any of B.C.’s 400,000 small businesses, it’s really pretty easy: “Shop local, eat local, support local.”
