Small Business Checklist for 2015.. Your employees are on vacation and the ball for 2015 is about to drop! As excited as you may be for your small business' success throughout 2014, you may be feeling the pressure to begin preparing. To help get you motivated, these are 5 ways to ensure productivity and prosperity in the next 365 days. Junday al 123 456 YE AH Clean House Do you really need that stack of papers on your desk? How about that inventory just sitting in your online marketplace? Have you cleaned those dust balls in the corners of your retail store? Bust out the disinfectant wipes, it's time to spruce your business up. 2 Get Prepared for Tax Season The end of 2014 is the prime time to review your finances before kick starting another eventful year. Get your administrative and financial documents in order. This is also a great time of the year to make large purchases for your business and finalize any charitable giving before you close the books!' You'll be thankful you did when tax season comes around. A 3 Bond With Your Employees The first few months of 2015 will presumably be the slowest of your business year. During this time, try to bond with your employees, make adjustments to schedules and offer trainings so they can learn different areas of your business. Also, discuss whether they see a benefit in hiring interns in the spring! Renew Contracts Throughout 2014 some of your business licenses and contracts may have expired. This may include your website domain, trademark, copyright, employee contracts and much more. Take the time to review these documents and consider what you want to and what you are obligated to renew. 5 Prepare Your Budget . A budget will help you control financial decisions in 2015. What can you afford to spend versus how much you are projecting to make?
