Pregnancy is the carrying of one or more offspring, known as a fetus or embryo, inside the womb of a female. In a pregnancy, there can be multiple gestations, as in the case of twins or triplets. Human pregnancy is the most studied of all mammalian pregnancies.

4 weeks- Umbilical cord is introduced.

5 weeks- Organs begin to form.

6 weeks- Facial fetures appear arms and legs

8 weeks- Baby starts to move

12 weeks-Hormone levels increase drastically

17 weeks- Brain synapses begin to fire

18 weeks-Age can be determined

20 weeks-Uterus expands 20x normal size

21 weeks- Heartbeat can be heard

28 weeks- Beginning of conscious thought

38 weeks-Baby inverts position

42 weeks-Complications can occur
