According to the controversial idea(s) of "Waterside Evolution" (including the infamous "Aquatic Ape Hypothesis"), numerous features of human can be explained as adaptations to a semi-aquatic environm...
ent, evolved over millions of years. With these adaptations, we are allowed to float, swim, dive and forage underwater, like how the sea gypsies, pearl divers, elite free-divers, and basically everybody still be able to do today.
This infographic is a summary of these possible anatomical and physiological adaptations.
