Online Students vs. Traditional Students

ONLINE STUDENTS vs. TRADITIONAL STUDENTS Online education is gradually gaining popularity as students look at ways to combat the high costs of living during study, and workers look to further their existing education while still maintaining a full-time job. Lack of credibility has traditionally surrounded an individual holding an online degree, but as online courses grow in popularity in more and more schools, their acceptance by employers is increasing. 1 HOW MANY STUDENTS ARE LEARNING ONLINE Over 5,600,000 students were taking at least one online course during the fall 2009. Traditional students enrollment in Fall 2009: 19,000,000 20 18 Nearly 30% of higher education students now take 16 at least one course online.
