This is a recently made infographic on Hurricane Sandy. The numbers are sourced from the NYTimes. Update: Thank you designers/viewers. Yes, I know the infographic displays "18,0000" when it should really be "18,000." I was aware of this shortly after submitting, but rushed to Rockaway, Queens to volunteer at 6am and decided against resubmitting. Thanks to everyone who respectfully let me know of the error. This was the first infographic I've ever designed, and I'm glad that Visual.ly was able to feature it on the front page. More Sandy infographics to come!
