7 Sacred Principles Of Design!

SACRED PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN! BALANCE Is used for all 7 design elements, such as, shape, color, value, size, etc. to create visual interest within a design. GRADATION Creates interest and movement in an image. It provides the linear and aerial perspectives when added to different elements of design. REPETITION Is used to achieve symmetrical balance. Therefore, it's formal, well-structured, but also boring at times. CONTRAST Creates the asymmetrical or informal balance in a design. DOMINANCE Can be applied to one or more design elements to create emphasis. UNITY Is the relevant and apropos use of design elements to do justice to the idea behind the image. E.g. using rough texture and warm colors to show aggressive design or using soft colors to express calmness and beauty, etc. HARMONY Is required to effectively combine related elements, such as, similar shapes, colors, etc. in a symmetrical and asymmetrical design. on Designmantic
