The sharing trends for the year 2010 have seen some very big changes. Lot of competition exists on the internet for sharing volume and Facebook seems to have outrun most of the fellow services in the year 2010. Statistically in the year 2009 the sharing volume of Facebook was around 33% which in the year 2010 became 44%. This is equal to a one third increase in total. AddThis tool has shown the sharing trends of 350 services and the prominent ones are Gmail, Facebook, Orkut, Yahoomail, Twitter, MySpace, StumbleUpon, Friendster as well as Favorites. It was also seen that all the services mentioned have been competing with Facebook in terms of sharing and StumbleUpon and Google did win this race.It can be seen in the image that Gmail has only one third user base of the total Facebook users but the sharing volume has increased recently, around 1.4 times faster than that of Facebook.
