This infographic shows in detail the history of hacking. The term 'Hacker' was invented by the famous mathematician John Forbes Nash Jr. and you might remember him from the movie 'A Beautiful Mind' in which the main role was played by actor Russell Crowe. There are 15 amazing facts and historic events mentioned in this infographic that you might have never heard of. For instance did you know that Ian Murphy was the first hacker to be convicted of felony charges. Also hacking existed even when people used telephones. Then they used a whistle from the Cap 'n Crunch which when blown correctly, could be used to make long distance calls.The longest jail sentence ever to be given to anyone for hacking was 20 years and the hacker was Albert Gonzalez.Such acts explain correctly the derogatory meaning that is associated with the term Hacker.
