The Bryde's whale pronounced as broo-duhz whale is one of the biggest mammals in water and is equal to three elephants. It belongs to the Rorqual family and hence is big in size just like the other members, some of which were bigger than dinosaurs. These whales belong to the Baleen class and so they have baleen plates in place of teeth to filter the food. These plates allow the whale to remove the water and trap the fish inside the mouth to eat. They are known to eat a big baitball of sardines in one single feed. This infographic shows some amazing features about this gigantic marine animal.A fun fact about this whale is related to its age. To determine the age of a Bryde's whale one needs to check the amount of ear wax it has in its ears. The larger the amount the older the whale and the vice versa holds true otherwise.
