To promote the New York International Latino Film Festival, agency Wing New York has created a clever series of charts and graphics that illustrate Hollywood movie clichés, the underlying assumption being that the festival’s lineup is above them. Film festivals have their own tropes, of course, but the graphics Wing came up with are pretty clever. Even the obvious jokes (bad guys can’t shoot straight!) are saved by their playfully minimalist visuals. If I had to pick a favorite, I’d go with “Must-Have Lines in Movies,” because I’m pretty sure the first Lethal Weapon contained all of them.
