Increasing in number each year, alcohol and drugs are the leading cause of deaths in the nation, responsible for even more deaths than suicides or car accidents. The number of physical disabilities, broken homes and shattered dreams are an even more frightening statistic. Putting an end to deaths and disability caused by alcohol is a frustratingly difficult goal to reach. The only solution is to reduce the overall rate of drug and alcohol abuse.
