A functional, dynamic city depends on successful and rapid information flows among many different actors. Citizens demand varied, individualized data streams to fully engage in public life. Likewise, public agencies, civil society, and the private sector all need to share information in order to effectively serve the public. This graphic sketches these interconnected needs and highlights their overlaps. It then goes further to propose a new Civic Information Exchange, curated and facilitated by local public broadcasters.
