Need for speed: Top speed limits around Europe

NEED FOR SPEED TOP SPEED LIMITS AROUND EUROPE The UK has launched a consultation to decide whether or not to raise the speed limit on the country's motorways from 70 mph to 80 mph (roughly 113 kph to 130 kph). But how does that compare with its European neighbours? As it turns out, several European countries already have similar speed limits- and some are even higher. We take a spin through the average built-up areas, rural, and motorway top speeds.
