AN OVERHWHELMING 93% OF ADULTS have unwanted clutter in their homes Most adults take to stuffing things into drawers, cupboards and wardrobes an average of 36 TIMES A YEAR. A defeated 16% said they've resorted to simply stacking clutter in the corners of rooms, because "IT MIGHT COME IN HANDY" Surprisingly, setting up house with a loved one can result in MORE JUNK. When moving in together, 37% of couples combined their belongings rather than having a mass clear-out, expanding their collection of clutter. Over half believed that the amount of clutter they put up with has a negative impact on their day-to-day lives, causing them to feel STRESSED AND UNPRODUCTIVE A CLEARER SPACE MEANSA CLEARER MIND Some believed it would IMPROVE THEIR WELLBEING to get rid of unwanted stuff, whilst a number of people said de-cluttering would boost their health as well as their finances. ...And it seems a bit of extra space could work wonders for some, as a frustrated 8% were sure it would even REKINDLE THEIR SEX LIVES. A spokesman from Music Magpie said; “There are so many ways to clear out stuff - taking it to a charity shop, passing it on to friends or recycling it.
