Movember is a cluttered space – with many brands vying to get noticed, the result is some truly creative mustache-related work being produced by agencies around the world. This year The BrainStorm Group entered the space, unofficially, with a nod to the month of growing and the anticipation of shaving it all off come December 1st. The Cromwell and Cruthers 'Mo-Ment' campaign focused on building energy and awareness for the oil-based shaving product through it's relationship to men's grooming.
Cromwell and Cruthers encouraged people to get their grow on in anticipation of the Cromwell and Cruthers “MO-MENT” on December 1st, when they get to kiss their furry little friend goodbye! Over the month Cromwell and Cruthers offered inspiration for facial hair design from history's best examples through an infographic.
The campaign's focus was to distribute the infograpahic and product samples to key influential male-centric establishments throughout the Toronto – this included menswear stores and influential barber shops. Those who could no grow weren't ignored however, C&C had them covered with a cheeky wild posting where passers-by could tear off a moustache of their very own.
Cromwell and Cruthers is proudly made in Canada - and good to Canada. Not only is the formula fully biodegradable, but even the packaging is designed with the environment in mind. The box is made of FSC certified paper and printed using soy-based inks, while the bottle and cap are made with fully recyclable low density polyethylene. This might sound complicated - but it's really about keeping it simple.
