Metastatic melanoma is an aggressive form of skin cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. It causes more than 9,000 deaths in the US each year, according to the National Institutes of Health. Cancer educators at HealthEd spoke with patients, care partners, physicians, and healthcare extenders to get at the root of how these different audiences experience diagnosis and management of metastatic melanoma.
