The US Department of Health and Human Services estimated that unfortunately 1 in 7 hospital patients became victims of serious medical negligence. The more disturbing fact is that 44% of them were actually preventable. Unfortunately, it is not fiction that 26% of all medical malpractice cases end up with fatalities. This is another fact that should motivate us to seek justice every time a friend, family member or we get hurt because of a medical institution or doctor’s negligence.
