The Mass Amounts is a personal project— a single poster-sculpture comprised of twenty consecutive prints, each documenting events that occurred in my life over the course of one week. Every activity...
performed during the week was catalogued into one of five categories: social stimulation, resting, design, nutrition, or grooming. The number of activities performed in each category was measured by volume through the process of placing beads into containers. The sum volume for each category was then "subtracted" from the poster series, creating empty spaces that demonstrate mass quantity. My intent was to explore information design in a new, exciting format while illustrating the overall essence of my lifestyle.
