Majority of Americans Plan to Give to Charity this Holiday Season Despite Continued Slow Economy

Americans Want to Give Ata time when the majority of Americans (67 percent) say Meaningful Gifts they did not expect the economic downturn to last so long, the desire to give to charities remains strong. 79% agreed that they would rather have a charitable donation 7 in 10 say they expect to donate in their honor than get about the same or more this holiday season as they did last year. a gift they wouldn't use. 4 in 5 Americans 68% of Americans agree that helping someone less fortunate believe that because is an important part of their holiday of the economy, it's important to give to charity tradition.
