KICKING THE HABIT IN 2014 NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS AND SUBSTANCE USE WHAT HAVE YOU RESOLVED TO CHANGE IN 2014? We looked at a sample of 200,000 Tweets people made about their New Year's resolutions on Twitter for 2013 – and then 1 million more for 2014. Within those Tweets, we looked into references to marijuana, alcohol and smoking, and were shocked to find people's resolve to actually consume more of these substances in the coming year.
