This study visualizes the structure of the top 5 international communication holdings in Italy and provides lots of information on their performances. For each holding we show all the agencies operating in our country. The size of the bars gives is proportional to the annual revenue of each agency. We show the performance of each agency in 3 years (2009-2010-2011), collecting information from the Italian official repository of annual reports.
The color of the bar tells the area of activity of the agency (advertising, media buying, research, PR, and so on). The red/green/grey small segments show the decrease/increase/flat change in the revenues year over year (2010 on 2009, 2011 on 2010).
Some agencies (media buyers) have revenues which go beyond scale. In that case it is provided the size of the “cut”.
The small stacked bars on the left summaries the results by group.
