Frustrated that future employers only saw the commercial side of my resumé and focused on the fact that I have changed jobs a few times. I decided to change the conversation and show in a very visua...
l way my creative side.
I used it to highlight the following points:
Experience in different industries
Stuff that I want to be doing in my next role which doesn't jump out in the standard wordy CV.
I also wanted to show that despite having changed jobs regularly, there are two companies that have had me back based on previous performance, hence the combined experiences add up.
I did the initial draft in Illustrator, but then created the graphics freehand to show my illustrative style. I deliberated long and hard over colours before deciding that I didn't want a typically corporate graphic. Pink and red are my colours blue is very corporate.. so lilac/laveneder is my kinda compromise. And so you have it.. my resumé.
