Wimbledon is well under way and following the first round of action the six strongest competitors still remain in contention for the title.
Defeated 2012 finalist Andy Murray will be hoping to get...
his hands on the crown for the first time this year. The Scot is highly superstitious and never touches a trophy he hasn’t won – which includes the men’s singles championship.
Current champ Roger Federer and world number one Novak Djokovic stand in Murray’s way but he’s nevertheless 9/4 with Bet365 to win this year.
Serena Williams is a narrow 2/5 frontrunner in the women’s draw, so dominant has the American been this year. She’s won 32 matches in a row since defeat in Dubai in February and although competitors Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka will put up a good fight there is very little they can do if this five-time Wimbledon champion is on form.
