We surveyed over 2,000 British consumers to understand what they will be doing online during the World Cup, and understand the implications for major websites during June.
Over a quarter of Brits plan on watching the World Cup online this year, with 93% saying that they will place bets, shop or chat online about the World-Cup.
The research also found that Brits are planning on digging deep during the tournament, with almost a third stating they would spend between £100 – £300 on food, drink, and upgrading their entertainment systems.
