The top ranking reddit users can be split in to two groups: "Hunters and "Gabberers". Hunters vie for link karma and gabberers for comment karma. The top 1000 of those two groups are overwhelmingly in the lead above everyone else, though at the very top, the distance between users is even greater. Here's a breakdown of what we found in our observation period.
