How Pure is 10 PPM?

HOW PURE IS 10 PPM? Parts Per Million, or PPM, is a way to measure the amount of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water or other liquids. For example, 1 PPM means that for every gram of water, there is 1 millionth of a particular solid or other pollutant. The lower the PPM number, the more pure the liquid. Here is a chart showing some everyday sources of water and the amount of Total Dissolved Solids in each.
