How to Moonwalk
HOW TO MOONWALK KEY: LEFT FOOT RIGHT FOOT BODY WEIGHT Left forward, right back. Raise your right heel. Slide your left foot back. 3 Body weight should be on the balls of your right foot. Start with left foot forward, Keep your left foot flat as you slide it backwards behind your right foot. right foot back. Slide, repeat. 4 Switch feet. THE SLIDING FOOT IS ALWAYS FLAT! Switch feet and shift weight by dropping your right heel and raising your left. Keep your body weight on the left foot as you slide your right foot back. Switch, repeat. That's the secret of the illusion. Body weight is on the toes of the raised foot. The sliding foot is always parallel with the floor, barely touching as it glides but never resting on the floor. The movements should blend together seamlessly, so people SMOOTH IT OUT can't tell when you shift weight from one foot to the other. Achieving a fluid moonwalk takes practice!
