The roots of the Chicago Flower & Garden Show can be traced as far back as 1847! The Show, held the 2nd week of March at Chicago's Navy Pier (March 9-17, 2013), is an experience for the senses, invoking memories of spring after a typically long and cold Chicago winter. Guests of the Show are treated to the sights, scents and sounds of feature gardens with blooming perennials, annuals and trees while water features rustle throughout the Festival Halls of Chicago’s acclaimed Navy Pier. Local landscape designers and builders create realistic solutions within their feature gardens and displays that inspire and demonstrate to attendees the possibilities for their own gardens, yards of balconies.
