Back in 2005, Wen Jiabo has asked Hong Kong’s Chief Executive to solve “deep-rooted conflicts”. These conflicts have never been resolved, but the discontent in Hong Kong keeps on growing. Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies has conducted an public opinion survey on 2 major deep-rooted conflicts in order to understand what Hong Kong people are thinking and thus to find out the solutions to the conflicts.
