A comparison of two of the most popular minivans, the 2014 Honda Odyssey and the 2014 Toyota Sienna. The comparison is based on their base price, where the Toyota Sienna is the winner with a base MSR...
P almost $2,000 lower than the Honda Odyssey. The second point of the comparison is the fuel economy which is better for the Odyssey that has an EPA MPG rating of 19city/28highway/22combined. In the engine and performance department the winner is the Sienna with a slight margin. Its 3.5 liter V6 engine outperforms the Odyssey's and makes about 18hp more. The safety ratings are very similar, and bot received a 5 star overall rating by the NHTSA. However, the Odyssey has a better frontal crash rating with 5 stars compared to 4 stars for the Sienna. The final noteworthy comparison point are the extra features. Sienna has an advantage, since unlike the Odyssey and every other Minivan on the market it offers an option for AWD. Overall, they are both very good Minivan and the only ones that can carry up to 8 passengers depending on the trim.
