AVOIDING TRAFFIC ON YOUR DRIVE Traveling Wed Sun Ideal Travel Day Ideal Travel Day between 50 and 99 miles? Head out on Wednesday and return on Sunday to avoid the bulk of traffic. Traveling more than 100 miles? Head out as early as possible to avoid the morning and evening rush hours. Traveled FLYING WITH PRESENTS When flying, it is best to NOT check the following items: Valuables (cash, jewelry).
